First Snowfall at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort

The arrival of the first snowfall ushered in a breathtaking start to the new year, transforming the parks in Paris and Tokyo into a shimmering winter wonderland.

At Disneyland Paris, the resort’s charming streets and iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle were glistening under a fresh coat of snow, turning the park into a scene straight out of a fairy tale.

But this year, the snow brought even more excitement as it fell upon the soon-to-open World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World*.

While the immersive world officially opens on March 29, 2026, the sight of snow falling on the towering North Mountain offered a breathtaking preview, it’s as if Elsa herself has sprinkled a little extra magic over.

When World of Frozen opens this spring, you will be able to step into the kingdom of Arendelle like never before. The immersive world will feature Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly boat ride journeying through Elsa’s Ice Palace.

Visitors can also explore the charming village streets, shop for Frozen-inspired merchandise, and savor new eats at Nordic Crown Tavern. The magic of Arendelle will extend to its shimmering bay, where “A Celebration in Arendelle” will bring the Snowflower Festival to life. Presented several times a day, the show unfolds aboard three majestic Viking longships.

This highly anticipated addition promises to bring the beloved story of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen to life like never before.

Snowfall at Tokyo Disney Resort

To kick off 2026, delicate snowflakes fell on Tokyo Disney Resort. Rooftops were dusted in white, including Beast’s Castle at Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast. It’s a rare and beautiful sight that adds an extra layer of charm to the resort’s already breathtaking landscapes.

The snowfall brings with it a sense of celebration, as seasonal décor and festive touches come to life throughout the parks. From twinkling lights to cozy treats, winter at Tokyo Disney Resort and Disneyland Paris are a time when every corner feels like a wonderland. We are already dreaming of warming up with a cup of chocolat chaud or ホットチョコレート and taking in the stunning scenery.

These first snowfalls remind us that winter at Disney parks around the world is truly something special. So bundle up, grab your camera, and take in the magic of the season.
